Objectives
Our vision is a world where all people with disabilities have access to the same freedom, services and opportunities as everyone else.
The ability to use computers while suffering from a disability is one of the greatest assets that a disabled person can achieve. It enables them to have contact with the outside world through the Internet. This opens a whole new experience for them and they never feel alone or deprived of contacts. As the Internet develops its entertainment systems the disabled can take advantage of the many forms of enjoyment that would otherwise be restricted by their disability.
We wish to promote and draw attention to the culture of inclusion, which will emphasis awareness of the inclusion philosophy that is incumbent within some of our communication and consumer design industries.
By creating this awareness it is possible that many more disabled and elderly people can be catered for in mainstream design rather than being excluded from it.,
To this end one of the main objectives of the organization lies in the development of systems that the disabled can use and interact with whatever their disability.
To develop systems for people who have a disability that will enhance their employment prospects.
To train people with disabilities in the use of these technologies.
To achieve this we wish to make use of the latest technological advances that have taken place in the electronics, speech synthesis, communications, and other fields to
develop innovative systems that will enable them to increase their accessibility to Supermarkets, Libraries and other Buildings and to entertainment in the home or community.
